Dave received his Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Shippensburg University in 1975. Dave served a one-year externship in the St. Joseph School of Medical Technology where he graduated as the valedictorian. He received his Master of Business Administration degree from The Pennsylvania State University in 1980, with a focus on Health Administration.

Dave is the founder of Healthcare Administrative Services (HAS), a local physician practice management company. Dave has provided administrative services for Women's Clinic, Ltd. since early 1982, and many other administrative and consultative services for numerous private practices in Pennsylvania. Dave has special interest and experience in the specialties of ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynecology as well as in ambulatory surgery.

Dave is an active participant in the following organizations;

• Berks County Medical Society, Executive Committee
